Taylor Darcy

California Civil Litigation Attorney

Taylor Darcy represents California businesses, owners, and creditors in serious civil litigation matters — commercial disputes, contract claims, business owner conflicts, judgment enforcement, and litigation defense. He founded Think Legal, P.C. in 2017 and operates the firm’s civil litigation practice under the California Litigation Counsel name.

His professional path runs through both business and law. Taylor Darcy completed an MBA in financial management and a Master of Forensic Science before earning his Juris Doctor at California Western School of Law, with a Business Law concentration completed with honors. That sequence — operator’s perspective, financial framing, then legal training — shapes how he approaches disputes: as business decisions first, legal proceedings second.

California State Bar No. 317674. Office: 7220 Trade Street, Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92121.

Background

Taylor Darcy moved to San Diego from Utah in the summer of 1989, at age twelve. His parents operated a service business in North County — eventually The Carpet Consultants of Escondido — and he grew up around the day-to-day realities of running it: cash flow, customer relationships, the dependencies between operations and reputation, the difference between the marketing and the actual work.

That early exposure to the operator’s view of small business is part of why the practice today centers on serious commercial disputes. Owner-level conflicts, contract claims, and the question of whether to pursue litigation in the first place tend to look different to counsel who has seen them from the operating side.

Taylor Darcy has lived in San Diego County continuously since 1989. Think Legal, P.C. is based in Sorrento Valley.
